Kraft Paper Bag Album

This is a special project I made for a friend's 60th birthday present.  It was very enjoyable to create and I was happy with the outcome.  Really could not believe that three (3) pre-punched kraft paper bags would give such a great result.  Apparently they are also available in white.

I chose mainly the Glitz Designs paper, ribbon and embellishments range -  Dance in Sunshine to complete the project.

The paper bags . . .

they are approximately 6 1/4" square
Edited to note:
some sets have 3 holes as above, whereas the one I used for this project has the 5

The front of the album (prior to completion)
Paper from range; white lace from stash, blue flowers are Tim Holtz misted with Glimmermist.  The grey and yellow flowers and leaves from stash and the net under the yellow flower is from the range

Inside page 1
lace from stash; lady and rose embellishments from Glitz Designs. Able to place a photo or journalliing under the rose (it is the bottom of the paper bag) - a bit hard to describe

Next page
Paper from range and added lace and pearl embellishment from Prima

Paper from range.  Bird cage cut from a die as is the butterfly.  The flower is cut from Prima embellishment as above and the butterfly from a punch

Once again papers and yellow net from Glitz Designs as well as the heart banner
The acrylic frame with lace edging is from my stash and I cannot remember the brand

More papers, embellishments and lace from the Dance in Sunshine range

Doily die cut using part of the Dance in Sunshine and added a card from the range

More of the same, with the lace edging from the ribbon range, and the square die cut from Spellbinders.  The 'bling' is from Prima

Back of the album, once again using embellishements from Dance in Sunshine and the lace border from my stash

The finished album, ready for photos and journalling to be added by the birthday girl

Side view of the completed project.
More tags and memorabilia are able to be added to the paper bag at the openings of the bags.

Lots more projects in partly finished mode, so will update blog as they are completed.
